Successive explosions during the fire at multiple warehouses on Jalan Rawa Melati A, Tegal Alur, Kalideres, West Jakarta, on Monday (11/5) night, are strongly suspected to have originated from numerous bottles containing chemicals and gas inside the buildings. Head of Operations Section of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-Department (Gulkarmat) Syaiful Kahfi said that the bottles were engulfed by the fire, causing them to explode amid the blaze. Pemprov DKI ensures transparency in investigating parking permits and taxes in Blok M. The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI) has assured that it will conduct an examination regarding allegations of illegal parking in the Blok M area, South Jakarta, in a transparent manner. As is known, parking in the Blok M area was sealed by the Special Committee (Pansus) on Parking Management of the DKI Jakarta DPRD on Monday (11/5). Construction of MRT Phase 2A Bundaran HI-Kota Tua is 59.7 percent complete. Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo stated that the progress of the Jakarta MRT Phase 2A construction, namely Bundaran HI-Kota Tua, has now reached 59.7 percent. “Overall, the progress is now at 59.7 percent,” said Pramono at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday. Pramono ensures sacrificial animal prices in Jakarta remain stable. Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has assured that the prices of sacrificial animals in the capital remain stable up to today, Tuesday. “For sacrificial animals, up to today, we have not received any reports of increases. So, the prices are still in line with what is available,” Pramono said at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday. To enhance traffic safety, Pemprov DKI holds Kitafest 2026.
