DKI Governor Confident PP Tunas Can Enhance Study Focus & Protect Children in Digital Space
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo hopes that Government Regulation number 17 of 2025 on the Governance of Electronic System Provisioning in Child Protection (PP Tunas) can make Jakarta’s children more concentrated in their studies.
“The main hope is that Jakarta’s children concentrate on their lessons,” said Pramono in Central Jakarta on Friday.
DKI Utilises Drought Warning to Accelerate River Dredging
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is utilising the long dry weather warning from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) to speed up the river dredging process in the capital.
DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the utilisation of the warning is an effort to prepare for the rainy season in September 2026.
Rano Karno Records Increasing Number of KJMU Recipients
DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno recorded that the number of Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul (KJMU) recipients continues to increase from the initial 16,979 students in phase I to 16,920 students in phase II.
According to him, the increase in KJMU recipients shows that opportunities are increasingly open for Jakarta’s children to continue their education to higher education institutions, while strengthening the quality of human resources.
DKI Provincial Government to Soon Regulate Illegal Parking in Several Areas
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI) will soon regulate illegal parking areas in several points in the capital’s territory, from the area around the Grand Indonesia shopping centre to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM).
“So, what is happening now in Central Jakarta, for example behind Grand Indonesia, which has not been tidied up for nearly 20 years, now we are tidying it up, including at RSCM, we are also tidying it up,” said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo in Central Jakarta on Friday.
Pramono Hopes Power Outage Incident Does Not Recur
DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo hopes that the power outage incident that occurred on Thursday (9 April) does not recur.
“So, this outage is entirely under PLN’s authority, but the impact on us, one of which is MRT and LRT also affected. Of course, we hope this does not recur,” said Pramono in the Central Jakarta area on Friday.
