Jakarta (ANTARA) - Several important and noteworthy events occurred in Jakarta on Wednesday (15 April), ranging from the inauguration of eleven officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, including the South Jakarta Mayor, to efforts to manage mussel waste in the Cilincing coastal area.
Pramono inaugurates eleven DKI provincial officials, including South Jakarta Mayor
Jakarta (ANTARA) - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo officially inaugurated eleven officials within the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta, including the new South Jakarta Mayor.
“The DKI Jakarta Government has just inaugurated high-ranking primary officials. This inauguration decree is in accordance with the provisions,” said Pramono at Jakarta City Hall on Wednesday.
DKI collaborates with UI to address mussel waste in Cilincing coastal area
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is partnering with the University of Indonesia (UI) to process mussel waste in the Cilincing coastal area, North Jakarta.
DKI Jakarta’s Assistant for Economy and Finance, Suharini Eliawati, stated that the waste will be utilised to create various useful products, from paving blocks to souvenirs.
DKI Provincial Government enhances preparedness for extraordinary food poisoning incidents
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is increasing the readiness of its apparatus, particularly in health and education sectors, regarding extraordinary incidents (KLB) of food poisoning, which remain a health challenge in Jakarta.
“Team preparedness during an incident is an important factor in the vigilance and response system for KLB food poisoning,” said the Head of Disease Prevention and Control, DKI Jakarta Health Office, Sri Puji Wahyuni, during an online seminar monitored in Jakarta on Wednesday.
DKI to build two new flyovers by 2030
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is constructing two new flyovers, namely on Latumenten Road in West Jakarta and Bintaro Puspita, until 2030, which are expected to enhance safety and traffic flow at railway crossings.
Governor of Jakarta’s Special Staff for Development and Urban Planning, Nirwono Joga, said these two flyovers were selected from seven locations already included in the Mid-Term Regional Development Plan (RPJMD).
DKI to clean rivers and janitor fish on Friday
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will conduct river and waterway cleaning, as well as remove janitor fish in the capital on Friday (17 April).
“Why must these fish be cleaned? Because they are indeed destructive. And from lab results, almost all the fish tested in the laboratory have a limit of 0.3 milligrams. It exceeds that, so it would be very dangerous if consumed,” said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung at Jakarta City Hall on Wednesday.
