Gulkarmat evacuates passengers whose ship is damaged at Pulau Bira Besar
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-Department (Gulkarmat) evacuated nine passengers who were adrift in the waters of Pulau Bira Besar, Pulau Harapan Village, North Thousand Islands District, due to their ship being damaged, on Saturday (28/3) night.
“A total of nine people were evacuated by us,” said the Operations Section Head of Gulkarmat North Jakarta and Thousand Islands, Gatot Sulaeman, in Jakarta on Sunday.
113 thousand train tickets for Eid return flow still available
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta recorded 113,175 seats (tickets) still available for long-distance trains for departures from 29 March to 1 April 2026 or the Eid return flow.
Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, in Jakarta on Sunday, detailed that from that number, 63,560 seats are executive class, 45,584 seats are commercial economy class, and 4,031 seats are PSO economy class (government subsidised).

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Operations (Daop) 1 Jakarta recorded the arrival of 52,896 passengers at various stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area on Sunday or H+8 of Eid 1447 Hijriah, at 09.00 WIB.
“The arrival volume or arrivals in Daop 1 total 52,896 people,” said Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, in Jakarta on Sunday (29/3).
Gulkarmat deploys 45 personnel to extinguish house fire in North Jakarta
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-Department (Gulkarmat) deployed 45 firefighters to extinguish one house at Jalan Kampung Kandang, Semper Barat Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, which caught fire.
“The object that burned is a house with an area of 90 square metres; we deployed nine fire trucks and 45 personnel,” said the Operations Section Head of Gulkarmat North Jakarta, Gatot Sulaeman, in Jakarta on Sunday.
