DKI Yesterday: Free Private Schools to Buffet-Style MBG in Pejaten
A series of events marked Jakarta on Wednesday (22 April), ranging from a free private school programme targeting 20 educational institutions in West Jakarta to the Indonesian National Police’s Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Pejaten holding a free nutritious meal (MBG) programme in buffet style.
Free Private School Programme Targets 20 Educational Institutions in West Jakarta
Jakarta (ANTARA) - As many as 20 educational institutions in the West Jakarta (Jakbar) area are targeted by the free private school programme for the 2026/2027 academic year. The 20 schools are divided into 11 in the Jakbar 1 area and nine in the Jakbar 2 area.
“In the Jakbar 2 area, there are nine schools targeted, namely SMP Al Inayah, SMP Al Hasanah, SMKS Maarif Jakarta, SMAS Bufi Murni 2, SMKS Prima Wisata, SMKS Al Hamidiyah, SMKS Kebon Jeruk Jakarta, and SMAS YP BDN,” said the Head of the West Jakarta Education Sub-District Office Area 2, Diding Wahyudin, when contacted by ANTARA in Jakarta on Wednesday evening.
SPPG Polri Pejaten Implements MBG in Buffet Style
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian National Police’s Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) Pejaten held its inaugural implementation of the free nutritious meal (MBG) programme in buffet style at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1, Pejaten, South Jakarta, on Wednesday.
The principal of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1, Muryanto, said the buffet-style MBG implementation directly benefits students, especially those who have not had breakfast before heading to school.
On Waste Management, Legislator: Jakarta Must Undergo Total Transformation

Bulog Educates Students on Food Security through Eduwisata
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Perum Bulog Regional Office for Jakarta and Banten educated students from SMK Hang Tuah 1 Kelapa Gading and SMA Negeri 21 East Jakarta about food security through an eduwisata programme at the Bulog Kelapa Gading Warehouse Complex on Wednesday.
