DKI Wins Award for Largest UMK Transaction Value at Inabuyer Expo
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has won an award as the Provincial Government with the largest micro, small, and medium enterprise (UMK) transaction value for the 2025 Fiscal Year at the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026.
The Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Office (PPKUKM), Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, stated that this achievement is the result of synergy across local agencies, business actors, and UMK that continue to adapt and develop amid economic challenges.
“This award is proof that support for UMK must be realised through policies that provide broader space for local products to grow and enter the government procurement chain,” she said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s transaction value was recorded at Rp13.7 trillion. This achievement is supported by strengthening an increasingly inclusive procurement system for local UMK products, one of which is through Governor’s Instruction Number 1 of 2023 on E-purchasing Transactions with Micro Enterprises and/or Small Enterprises through the E-order System.
According to Ratu, UMK strengthening is carried out comprehensively, from financing, marketing, product quality improvement, business mentoring, digitalisation, business legality, cooperative strengthening, to expanding access to government procurement.
“Government spending has a strategic role as a driver of the people’s economy. When UMK products are used in government procurement, the impact is not only on economic growth but also on job creation and strengthening family businesses,” she said.
Ratu stated that DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung places UMK as an important part of Jakarta’s inclusive and sustainable development.
“UMK must be the hosts in their own city. Therefore, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continues to open opportunities for UMK actors to have equal chances to grow, develop, and level up,” she said.
