DKI reschedules inauguration of Kelapa Gading-Manggarai LRT
The Jakarta Provincial Government has rescheduled the inauguration of the Jakarta LRT Kelapa Gading–Manggarai route, which was previously planned to take place on Wednesday.
“After conducting a final evaluation of the overall implementation of activities, the Jakarta Provincial Government has decided to reschedule the inauguration of the Jakarta LRT Kelapa Gading–Manggarai. We want the inauguration to be held after refinement of a number of details on the facilities,” said Head of the Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency Marulina Dewi in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The latest schedule will be announced once the implementation time has been determined. The change relates to the timing of the inauguration without altering the Jakarta LRT development agenda.
The Jakarta Provincial Government together with PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) will continue to carry out the planned stages related to the development of the Kelapa Gading–Manggarai corridor.
As is known, the Jakarta LRT Kelapa Gading–Manggarai stretches 12.2 kilometres with 11 stations, namely Kelapa Gading, Boulevard Utara, Boulevard Selatan, Pulomas, Equestrian, Velodrome, Rawamangun, Pramuka, Matraman, Proklamasi, and Manggarai. Currently, the Jakarta LRT serves the Kelapa Gading–Manggarai route with a flat fare of Rp5,000 per trip.
