DKI Requests Ranks to Ensure Budget Proposals Align with Central Policies
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Uus Kuswanto, has requested that all regional apparatus ensure that the budget proposals allocated in the local budget align with central government policies, the regional vision, strategic issues, and development priorities for 2027.
This was stated by Uus when opening the City/District Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) of the DKI Jakarta Province for 2026 at Jakarta City Hall on Thursday.
Uus also requested that the ranks implement principles of efficiency and effectiveness by considering budget absorption capacity and strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration.
“Then, position regional potentials as a new pillar of growth to support Jakarta’s grand vision as a global city through innovative and collaborative approaches,” he said.
Another matter that he emphasised and requested from the ranks is to strengthen the resolution of cross-sectoral issues at the city or regency level and to encourage the integration of development in the Jabodetabek agglomeration area to create social stability around Jakarta.
In addition, ensure that all programmes compiled are based on data, research, and evidence to improve targeting accuracy, as well as prioritise programmes with high leverage and broad impact, and respond quickly to community needs.
The implementation of Musrenbang at the city and regency level is a series in the preparation of the 2027 RKPD draft as a follow-up to the mandate of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017.
In the event, mayors and regents presented reports on the results of sub-district Musrenbang implementation based on citizen proposals that have been inputted, verified, and validated in stages from the RW level, sub-district to sub-district level.
“I request that all ranks of the Jakarta Provincial Government follow up on all citizen proposals resulting from Musrenbang to subsequently become input and consideration in the preparation of the 2027 development plan,” said Uus.
