DKI Provincial Government Revokes White Rabbit PIK Business Permit, Bars and Karaoke Banned from Operating

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has revoked all business permits for the White Rabbit PIK nightlife venue located at Golf Island PIK Block C No. 28–30, Kapuk Muara Ward, Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta.

The revocation encompasses various business activities, from bars and restaurants to drinking houses/cafes and karaoke.

The evaluation was conducted after the location was searched by the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency in connection with a narcotics distribution case.

“From the results of the supervision and evaluation, it was found that the business activities at White Rabbit PIK violated Article 54 of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Regulation No. 18 of 2018 on the Implementation of Tourism Businesses,” she stated to Kompas.com on Friday (24/4/2026).

“Subsequently, the proposal was followed up by the DKI Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency on 10 April 2026 through the Business Permit Revocation Notification Letter in the name of PT Pribadi Utama Mandiri with Business Identification Number 0908220019155,” she explained.

Henny added that the permit revocation applies to all types of businesses operating at the location.

The revocation process was carried out in stages on 8–9 April 2026 according to the respective authorities.

She also mentioned that the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency had sent a closure recommendation letter to the Civil Service Police Unit on Monday (20/4/2026).

“A banner and sticker for closure/suspension of business activities at White Rabbit have been installed,” she added.
