Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government received 61,174 public aspiration proposals during the 2026 Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) activities, from the sub-district to the regency/city level. “Since 2-10 April, we have obtained a total of 12,158 proposals, and proposals submitted through direct channels, with a total of 5,861,” said Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of DKI Jakarta, Atika Nur Rahmania, during the Musrenbang for the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of DKI Jakarta Province for 2027 in Jakarta on Thursday. In addition, the number of public aspirations obtained through the DKI Jakarta DPRD recesses totalled 43,155 proposals, which can be accommodated in the draft RKPD for 2027. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held the provincial-level Musrenbang, as mandated by Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 86 of 2017, to discuss the draft RKPD and reach agreement on regional development targets and priorities for 2027. The Musrenbang was attended by participants from various government sectors and is expected to conduct discussions in a participatory, inclusive, and responsive manner to the needs of residents. “Using various methods to ensure all proposals can be elaborated in the 2027 development plan,” said Atika. Previously, DKI Jakarta Secretary Uus Kuswanto stated that the recent City/Regency Musrenbang activities requested all regional apparatus to ensure budget proposals allocated in regional spending align with central policies, regional vision, strategic issues, and 2027 development priorities. He also urged all ranks to implement principles of efficiency and effectiveness by considering budget absorption capacity and strengthening cross-sector collaboration. “Then, making regional potentials as a pillar of new growth to support Jakarta’s grand vision as a global city through innovative and collaborative approaches,” Uus revealed.
