DKI PPAPP Department Collaborates with Transjakarta to Strengthen Inclusive Work Environment
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Department of Child Empowerment, Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) is collaborating with PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) to strengthen inclusive work environments as an effort to prevent and address gender-based sexual violence. “This is the signing of the cooperation agreement between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and PT Transportasi Jakarta on strengthening inclusive work environments,” said the Head of the DKI Jakarta PPAPP Department, Dwi Oktavia, in Jakarta on Thursday. Meanwhile, Transjakarta’s Director of Finance, Human Resources, and General Affairs, Mayangsari Dian Irwantari, stated that the cooperation serves as a concrete step in providing a safe, inclusive, and gender-responsive work environment for all employees, labour partners, interns, and Transjakarta customers. She added that this is part of the company’s commitment to building a work culture that respects human rights and upholds equality. “Through this cooperation, we want to ensure that all Transjakarta personnel receive protection and an inclusive work space,” Mayangsari said. The implementation of this cooperation will soon be realised through various strategic programmes, starting from the development of reporting and case-handling mechanisms, strengthening employee capacity, to providing supporting facilities, such as the Pos Sahabat Perempuan dan Anak (Pos SAPA), Employee Protection Team, and the development of child-friendly daycare in the Transjakarta work environment. Mayangsari further added that the collaboration also covers the prevention and handling of gender-based sexual violence, including the development of psychosocial support services and protection for women, children, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
