The Thousand Islands Sub-District Office for Population and Civil Registration (Sudin Dukcapil) has conducted a mobile administrative service on Sabira Island, the outermost island of DKI Jakarta Province. This initiative aims to ensure that residents continue to receive optimal access to population document services.

“This activity is carried out to ensure that the people on the outermost islands of DKI Jakarta still receive optimal population administration services,” said the Head of the DKI Population and Civil Registration Agency, Denny Wahyu Hariyanto, in Jakarta on Friday (8/5/2026).

He stated that population administration services must be accessible to all Jakarta residents without exception, including those in the outermost island areas. According to Denny, the state must be present to serve all citizens, including those on the outermost islands.

“Therefore, we are ensuring that population administration services remain easily accessible to the people of Sabira Island,” he said. He explained that this mobile service represents the DKI Provincial Government’s commitment to providing excellent service while increasing public awareness of the importance of administrative orderliness.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Thousand Islands Sudin Dukcapil, Raditya Wirawan, explained that they are providing various population administration services. These include recording and printing of electronic ID cards, Child Identity Cards (KIA), Family Cards (KK), civil registry certificates, and activation of Digital Population Identity (IKD).

“Today, we are present on Sabira Island to ensure that residents receive the same population administration service rights as those in the city centre,” said Raditya.
