Jakarta BBPOM Head Sofiyani Chandrawati, when contacted in Jakarta on Sunday, also advised the public to ensure takjil does not smell sour, stale, or pungent; to avoid food with overly vivid colours or an unnatural appearance; and to choose vendors who maintain personal and environmental hygiene.
