The Jakarta Provincial Government is optimistic that 97 per cent of users are satisfied with the TransJabodetabek service, following the establishment of a Rp15,000 fare for the Blok M - Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Soetta) route.

“After receiving feedback and collaborating with various institutions, the public satisfaction level for the Transjabodetabek bus is over 97 per cent,” stated the Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, at Blok M Hub Jakarta on Friday.

Pramono noted that the previous fare of Rp3,500 was too low to sustain the necessary service quality and price adjustments for public transport. According to survey results, the majority of the public agreed with the new Rp15,000 price point.

“Almost the majority expressed agreement with the figure we have decided upon, which is Rp15,000, effective from 1 September,” he said. Consequently, the Jakarta Provincial Government remains optimistic that this price increase will be well-accepted by the community.

This fare regulation is stipulated in Governor’s Decree (Kepgub) Number 685 of 2026 regarding the Service Tariffs for the Transbandara Public Transport on the Blok M - Soekarno-Hatta Airport route. Regarding the payment method, the public transport service utilises electronic money in accordance with statutory provisions.

Meanwhile, for other routes to Soetta Airport, such as the Kalideres - Soetta Airport route, the old fares remain in effect: Rp2,000 between 05:00 and 07:00 WIB, and Rp3,500 after 07:00 WIB.
