Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Information Commission (KI DKI) has reported that goods and services-related disputes dominated its caseload throughout 2025.

This was conveyed by KI DKI Jakarta Commissioner for Public Information Dispute Resolution Agus Wijayanto Nugroho during an audience with DKI Jakarta Provincial Secretary Uus Kuswanto at City Hall on Thursday (19 February).

However, he did not disclose the precise number of goods and services disputes received. According to available data, KI DKI resolved a total of 70 information disputes throughout 2025.

Beyond the dispute figures, Nugroho also revealed that public information requests continue to originate predominantly from non-governmental organisations. Some of these requesters fall into the category of those acting in bad faith or without genuine intent, submitting large volumes of information requests with unclear purposes.

During the same occasion, KI DKI presented its achievements in the electronic monitoring and evaluation programme (E-Monev). In 2025, a total of 829 public bodies in Jakarta participated in E-Monev activities, representing a 59.7 per cent increase compared to 2024 and a 257.3 per cent surge from 2023.

"The number of E-Monev participants in Jakarta is the highest in all of Indonesia. We have encouraged participation across nearly all categories of public bodies, from sub-district offices and district offices to schools and community health centres," said KI DKI Jakarta Chairman Harry Ara Hutabarat.

Furthermore, Harry reported that the E-Monev results showed 189 public bodies achieved an "Informative" rating, 98 were rated "Towards Informative", 56 received "Sufficiently Informative", 64 were deemed "Insufficiently Informative", and 294 were rated "Not Informative".

"We have also issued recommendations as follow-up measures for public bodies participating in E-Monev. These recommendations contain several improvement points aimed at encouraging more public bodies to achieve the Informative rating," he said.

Another matter raised during the audience concerned the achievements of Public Information Disclosure Act (UU KIP) socialisation activities in 2025. KI DKI Jakarta Commissioner for Education, Socialisation, and Advocacy (ESA), Ferid Nugroho, noted that more than 10 UU KIP socialisation events were held at various universities across the Greater Jakarta area in 2025. These activities were carried out in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Department of Communication, Information Technology, and Statistics.

This year, he added, KI DKI will expand its socialisation efforts beyond universities to include communities, civil society organisations, and the general public down to the neighbourhood association (RT) and community association (RW) levels.
