DKI Jakarta Ensures Learning Continues Smoothly at SDN Kebayoran Lama

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has ensured that educational services for all students at SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 continue to run well amidst the planned and phased reconstruction of the school building. “The safety of students is our priority. At the same time, we ensure that all students continue to obtain their right to learn optimally,” explained DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Agency Head Nahdiana in Jakarta on Wednesday. Although teaching and learning activities are temporarily being carried out with a two-shift system, she continued, the learning process still refers to the applicable curriculum with teacher assistance and the quality of educational services is maintained. She stressed that the adjustment to learning time does not reduce the quality of learning. The curriculum, teaching and learning process, and mentoring by teachers and education staff continue to run according to standards. “We continue to provide assistance so that the teaching and learning process takes place effectively. Most importantly, not a single child loses their right to obtain a quality education while the school construction is being prepared,” she said. Nahdiana explained that the reconstruction of SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 has entered the planning stage since 2025 through the preparation of a Detail Engineering Design as the technical basis for construction. “The planning process continues so that construction can be realised immediately so that students can return to learning in a building that is safe, comfortable, and meets educational facility standards,” she stated. She added that the construction of SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 remains part of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s priorities and will be proposed again in the 2027 Fiscal Year.
