DKI Jakarta DPRD Bamus ensures 2027 APBD discussion stays on schedule
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Consultative Body (Bamus) of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) has confirmed that deliberation of the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the DKI Jakarta Provincial Budget (APBD) for the 2027 fiscal year can proceed according to schedule.
Deputy Chair of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Bamus, Rany Mauliani, said the scheduling of deliberations took into account the number of partner agencies in each commission.
“Because the number of regional government work units (SKPD) in each commission is not the same. There are some commissions with quite a large number of partner agencies,” she said in an official statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
The scheduling of commission working meetings will provide room for the DKI Jakarta DPRD together with the executive to examine every programme and budget in depth, so as to produce policies that benefit the public.
Rany explained that in-depth examination of programmes and budgets requires adequate time. The aim is for each commission to discuss proposals with their respective partner agencies optimally.
“So, time is needed to examine the budget in depth, and therefore time is needed for working meetings. We have prepared everything to carry out commission working meetings to discuss the budgets in each commission, with four days allocated for the working meetings,” she said.
The commission-level discussion and in-depth examination of the 2027 APBD Raperda is scheduled to take place on 26-29 October 2026.
Rany expressed hope that the time provided can be utilised to the maximum by all commissions to ensure that the work programmes and budget allocations prepared truly answer the needs of Jakarta residents.
“Hopefully these four days can produce work programmes and budgets that are highly beneficial for the people of Jakarta,” she said.
