DKI Inspectorate's Explanation on the Suspension of Kalisari Sub-District Head

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspectorate has recommended to the Mayor of East Jakarta Administrative City that the Kalisari Sub-District Head, Siti Nur Hasanah, be suspended as a consequence of her subordinates following up on a citizen’s complaint using artificial intelligence (AI).

DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspector, Dhany Sukma, stated that a systematic examination had been carried out, referring to government internal audit standards, to uncover facts and determine necessary follow-up actions.

“The results of this examination serve as the basis for corrective steps and strengthened oversight, so that the handling of public complaints proceeds in a more orderly, accountable, and compliant manner,” he said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the involved employees, namely the Head of the Kalisari Sub-District Government Section and the Head of the Kalisari Sub-District Economy and Development Section, are recommended to receive disciplinary punishments and guidance.

Furthermore, three PPSU officers proven to be involved are to be subjected to sanctions in accordance with the general contract terms.

Dhany stated that this step is part of the bureaucratic reforms championed by Governor Pramono Anung.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, he continued, will continue to strengthen oversight, increase accountability, and ensure that every public complaint is handled honestly, quickly, and accountably.

“This is not just about sanctions, but also about comprehensive systemic improvements so that similar incidents do not recur,” said Dhany.
