DKI DPRD Schedules Plenary Session for Chairman Replacement on 30 April
The DKI Jakarta DPRD has scheduled a plenary session for the proposal to replace the DKI Jakarta DPRD Chairman on 30 April 2026. This decision was made during a Badan Musyawarah (Bamus) meeting held today.
Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Wibi Andrino, stated that the scheduling was agreed upon by all attending factions and met the quorum.
“The Badan Musyawarah meeting earlier has set the date for holding the plenary session on the replacement proposal, which is 30 April,” said Wibi at the DKI Jakarta DPRD on Wednesday (22/4/2026).
Wibi explained that this determination is limited to the submission of the replacement proposal from the PKS Faction and has not yet reached the inauguration stage. He assured that the entire process is running without significant dynamics.
“Not yet, it’s just the determination of the proposal from the Prosperous Justice Party Faction. And everything is going well, no dynamics,” he said.
In the meeting, the DPRD also hopes that DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung can attend the replacement plenary session. Wibi mentioned that the Governor is scheduled to be in Jakarta on the determined date.
“We hope this plenary session can be attended directly by the Governor. And alhamdulillah, on the 30th the Governor will have returned and will attend together with us,” he explained.
Furthermore, Wibi stated that after the plenary is held, the next process is to await the decree (SK) from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri). The estimated issuance time for the SK is a maximum of 20 working days.
“After this plenary is completed, we will wait for the SK from Kemendagri, at the latest 20 working days,” he said.
Meanwhile, DKI DPRD member from the PKS Faction, Thamrin, emphasised that the replacement process has proceeded according to the applicable mechanisms. He stated that the Council Secretariat (Sekwan) has followed up on the letter from the PKS Central Executive Board through Kemendagri.
“The mechanism has been implemented. Sekwan is handling the letter submitted by the DPP via Kemendagri and this has been processed,” said Thamrin.
Based on the letter seen by detikcom on Tuesday (21/4), PKS DKI Jakarta revoked the Central Executive Board of the Prosperous Justice Party Decree Number: 128/SKEP/DPP-PKS/2025 regarding the Leadership and Apparatus of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regional People’s Representative Council from the Prosperous Justice Party Faction for the 2024-2029 Period dated 27 October 2025 and declared it invalid.
“Proposing the Replacement of the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regional People’s Representative Council from the Prosperous Justice Party, previously held by Drs. H. Khoirudin M. Si, to be replaced by Suhud Alynudin, S. IP., M.Sc,” reads the SK, quoted on Tuesday (21/4).
In the third dictum of this SK, it is stated that this decision is conveyed to the PKS DKI Jakarta Regional Leadership Council (DPW) to be followed up in accordance with applicable statutory regulations.
“To the Party Members as mentioned in the Second Dictum above, they are obliged to comply with all regulations related to the functions, authority, and duties as Chairman of the Regional People’s Representative Council concurrently as a Council member and Prosperous Justice Party Faction member as the Party’s mandatary in the Regional People’s Representative Council,” reads the fourth dictum of the SK.
In the fifth dictum, it is explained that this decision takes effect from the date it is established until the end of the DKI Jakarta DPRD term for the 2024-2029 period.
