DKI Civil Service Holiday Allowances Remain Unpaid as Provincial Government Prioritises Non-ASN Staff
JAKARTA – Holiday allowances (Tunjangan Hari Raya/THR) for civil servants (Aparatur Sipil Negara/ASN) employed by the DKI Jakarta provincial government have yet to be disbursed.
The DKI provincial government is prioritising the distribution of holiday allowances to non-ASN workers, including individual service providers (Penyedia Jasa Lainnya Perorangan/PJLP).
“We are indeed prioritising payments for non-ASN colleagues, among whom are our PJLP friends,” stated Suharini Eliawati, the Assistant for Economics and Finance in the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary’s office, at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
Suharini noted that regulations concerning ASN holiday allowances from the central government have already been issued.
“At this time, the Government Regulation (Peraturan Pemerintah/PP) for ASN holiday allowances already exists,” she said.
However, she was unable to confirm when ASN holiday allowances would be paid.
Currently, the administrative process is being handled by the DKI Jakarta Regional Personnel Board (Badan Kepegawaian Daerah/BKD).
“Actually, our side has been quite quick. For instance, once the listing comes out, because the Fund Allocation Letter has already been prepared for the budget,” she explained.
