DKI Civil Registry Service Quality Index Highly Satisfactory
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) has recorded that the civil registry and population administration (dukcapil) service quality index in Jakarta for the second semester of 2025 falls into the highly satisfactory category. “For example, electronic ID card recording has reached 100 percent,” said the Director General of Population and Civil Registration at the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Teguh Setyabudi, during the Development Planning Consultation (Musrenbang) for the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of DKI Jakarta Province for 2027 in Jakarta on Thursday. He also appreciated this achievement because the administration of population affairs plays a very important role, not only as a basis for public services but also as a foundation for targeted development planning. Furthermore, he asked the DKI Dukcapil Service to provide services to residents who are not DKI Jakarta residents, such as those living under toll roads. “Continue to take the initiative even if they are possibly not DKI Jakarta residents. If they have not yet been recorded or do not have documents,” Teguh stated. “Death certificates, marriage certificates, birth certificates are also good. Birth certificates have reached 99 percent although there is still a reporting delay, which we will discuss with the Ministry of Health to ensure that delay does not occur, so that birth and death certificates are in real time,” Teguh explained. Previously, the Central Government targeted electronic ID card recording in 2026 to reach 99.4 percent. Then, activation of Digital Population Identity (IKD) to reach 20 percent, recording of birth certificates for children aged 0-4 years at 97 percent, death certificate recording at 100 percent, marriage certificates at 62 percent, and divorce certificates at 62 percent. These national targets are cumulative from all provinces, so provinces that are already above the national target need to set higher targets than the national achievement.
