DKI Announces 103 Private Schools Free for 2026/2027 Academic Year
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Jakarta Education Office (Disdik), has announced the list of 103 private schools included in the free private school programme for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The Head of the Jakarta Education Office, Nahdiana, stated that the selection of these private schools prioritises sub-districts without public schools.
“It prioritises private educational units in sub-districts that do not have educational units operated by the Jakarta Provincial Government,” said Nahdiana when confirmed in Jakarta on Friday.
Previously, 40 private schools were already part of the free private school programme.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, the Jakarta Government is adding 63 schools.
