DJPb Records 1,055 Transactions at 75 KDKMP Outlets in Southeast Sulawesi

The Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) for Southeast Sulawesi Province has recorded that spending at 75 Koperasi Desa Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) outlets in the region reached 1,055 transactions throughout 2026. The accumulated transaction value stands at Rp25.22 million, generated from outlet operations up to July 2026. Sales were dominated by basic necessities and subsidised energy commodities, including medium-grade SPHP rice, Minyakita cooking oil, sugar, and 3-kilogramme LPG canisters. However, trading activity across the province remains uneven, with more than 99 per cent of transaction volume concentrated in Kendari City, whilst other districts and cities have yet to record significant transaction values. Of the 2,273 KDKMP that have been established across 17 districts and cities in Southeast Sulawesi, only 75 outlets were operational as of July 2026, limiting economic activity in many areas. In terms of physical readiness, 218 outlets have been fully constructed and 572 are still under construction, meaning a total of 790 outlets, or 34.8 per cent, have either been completed or are being built. To strengthen the supply of goods at the outlets, 303 KDKMP have submitted partnership applications to strategic business entities such as Pertamina, Bulog, and ID FOOD. Currently, most KDKMP in Southeast Sulawesi are focusing on completing business administration requirements, preparing outlets, strengthening business models, enhancing human resource capacity, and integrating into supply chains and markets.
