DJPb: FLPP in Jambi reaches 3,287 housing units by mid-July

The Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (Kanwil DJPb) in Jambi Province recorded that the realisation of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) programme had reached 3,287 units with a financing value of IDR 391.5 billion as of mid-July 2026. Head of the Jambi DJPb Regional Office, Tunas Agung Jiwa Brata, stated on Monday that the FLPP realisation was spread across 367 housing locations in nine regencies and cities throughout Jambi Province. This achievement indicates that the subsidised housing financing programme is still running optimally and reflects high public interest in home ownership. The distribution of financing is supported by around 420 developers and eight partner banks working together to provide housing finance access for low-income communities. This situation shows that the public’s need for decent housing remains high and is continuously supported through government-subsidised financing programmes. “Looking at this data, it means that people’s purchasing power in the housing sector is still quite good and the FLPP programme is still running well in Jambi Province,” he said. He added that the implementation of FLPP not only benefits the recipients of subsidised housing but also creates a multiplier effect on the regional economy. “Supporting industries for the housing sector are also moving, there is labour absorption, and the demand for building materials continues, which is a fairly good signal for the regional economy,” he said. Tunas noted that the government is targeting the construction of three million houses nationally. He expressed hope that the realisation of FLPP in Jambi Province would continue to increase so that more low-income people could gain access to decent housing while simultaneously strengthening regional economic growth.
