DJP Targets 250,000 Annual Tax Return Submissions Per Day

Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto said that as of Thursday, 5 March 2026, six million annual income tax return reports (SPT) for the 2025 tax year had been received. In the last week, the average number of reports entering the Coretax system on working days has been above 250,000. He said: ‘We hope this trend continues given that the personal taxpayer annual SPT filing deadline is 31 March, while corporate taxpayers have until 30 April. So we target that if possible every day the activity from taxpayers reporting is above 250,000,’ during a media briefing in Jakarta on 5 March 2026.

Target SPT annual is 15 million. ‘Thus the shortfall of around 9 million taxpayers remaining, after 6 million have entered by this morning, can be completed on time,’ he said.

Coretax has so far been able to anticipate the high daily surge in filings.

The number of taxpayers who have activated Coretax accounts continues to rise. As of 5 March 2026, 15,268,493 taxpayers had activated Coretax accounts.

DJP also introduced additional channels in the Coretax ecosystem, namely Coretax Form and Coretax Mobile (M-Pajak). These two channels are provided to enhance inclusivity and ease of service, given varying levels of digital literacy and limited internet access in some areas.

Coretax Form is an additional channel within the Coretax DJP system that can be used for reporting annual PPh SPT for individual taxpayers with Nihil status. Through this facility, taxpayers can download electronic forms from Coretax, fill them offline, then re-upload the forms via the system.

Coretax Mobile is a mobile tax service application that allows taxpayers to activate Coretax DJP accounts and register an Authorization Code or Electronic Certificate (KOSE) more conveniently via mobile phones.
