Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has announced that progress in reporting Annual Income Tax Returns (SPT PPh) for the 2025 tax year has reached 11.22 million, with Coretax DJP account activations hitting 18.05 million as of 14 April 2026.

Director of Dissemination, Services, and Public Relations at DJP, Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), Inge Diana Rismawanti, in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday, detailed the data received as of 14 April 2026 at 24:00 WIB, with 11,226,740 annual SPTs submitted.

These reports come from 9,729,122 individual employee taxpayers, 1,198,328 individual non-employee taxpayers, 296,181 corporate taxpayers in rupiah, and 212 corporate taxpayers in US dollars. This figure pertains to annual SPTs for the January–December 2025 book year.

Meanwhile, she stated that for annual SPTs with different book years, which began reporting on 1 August 2025, the number recorded is 2,863 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 33 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.

The progress in Coretax DJP account activations is recorded at 18,046,467 accounts. This comprises 16,954,601 individual taxpayers, 1,000,757 corporate taxpayers, 90,882 government institution taxpayers, and 227 Electronic System-Based Trade (PMSE) taxpayers.

For context, the reporting deadline for individual taxpayers’ annual SPTs has been extended to 30 April 2026 from the original 31 March 2026.

DJP has also waived administrative sanctions for late payments and reporting of annual SPTs for individual taxpayers until 30 April 2026.

Taxpayers who fail to report annual SPTs on time will face administrative sanctions in the form of fines, namely Rp100,000 for individual taxpayers and Rp1 million for corporate taxpayers.

The Ministry of Finance continues to refine the Coretax system. Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that improvements to the Coretax system will soon be implemented to address fraudulent SPT reporting practices, such as those widely offered on social media.
