DJP Sends Warning Letters to Tax Delinquents, Late Payment Penalties Apply

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) at the Ministry of Finance has sent warning emails to taxpayers who still have outstanding tax arrears. According to Announcement Number Peng-39/PJ.09/2026, the email is part of the DJP’s commitment to helping taxpayers ensure their tax administration runs smoothly and without obstacles. “If you receive such an email, ensure the sender is the Directorate General of Taxes, with the sender’s email domain being @pajak.go.id. Email domains other than @pajak.go.id can be confirmed as fraud,” the announcement stated. Once the email is confirmed as official correspondence from the Directorate General of Taxes, taxpayers should follow these steps: a. Open the Coretax DJP page via the link https://coretaxdjp.pajak.go.id. b. Create a billing code by selecting the “Payment” menu. c. Click “Create Billing Code for Tax Bill”. d. Select and tick the bill to be paid. e. Fill in the payment amount in the “Amount You Want to Pay” column. f. Click “Create Billing Code”. g. Make the payment through official channels at bank tellers, ATMs, mobile/internet banking, or e-commerce using the MPN-G2 menu. “Delaying the settlement of tax bills may result in sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations,” the Directorate General of Taxes stated in the announcement.
