DJP records Coretax activation surpassing 15 million and SPT submissions at 5.7 million as of 4 March
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance has recorded progress in activating Coretax accounts reaching 15.14 million and annual tax return (SPT) submissions amounting to 5.74 million as of 4 March 2026.
“The number of taxpayers who have activated Coretax accounts with DJP reached 15,142,378,” said DJP Director for Public Outreach, Services, and Public Relations Inge Diana Rismawanti, in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
In detail, Coretax activations come from 14,130,670 individual taxpayers, 921,519 corporate taxpayers, 89,964 government agency taxpayers, and 225 taxpayers in the Electronic Trading Through System (PMSE).
Meanwhile, regarding the progress of annual income tax return (PPh) reporting for the 2025 tax year, reports via Coretax DJP total 5,741,280 SPT and Coretax Form 2,442 SPT.
By taxpayer type, for the 2025 financial year reports come from 5,112,581 individual employee taxpayers and 502,687 individual non-employee taxpayers.
Additionally, 124,888 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 113 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.
As for the annual PPh returns for different fiscal years reported from 1 August 2025, reports come from 990 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 21 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.
To report the Annual SPT, taxpayers can activate Coretax accounts independently by following tutorials and steps available via DJP’s official social media accounts.
For taxpayers requiring further assistance, DJP provides the Kring Pajak service channel at 1500200 or guidance from officers at the nearest tax office.
DJP also urged taxpayers who have not yet reported their annual SPT to promptly activate their Coretax accounts and submit SPT on time.
Taxpayers who are late in reporting their annual SPT will face administrative sanctions in the form of fines, amounting to Rp100,000 for individual taxpayers and Rp1,000,000 for corporate taxpayers.
