JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) launched Coretax Form and Coretax Mobile to broaden access to tax services. The launch is part of strengthening the Core Tax Administration System or Coretax DJP.

Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto said service innovations are continuously developed to ease taxpayers in meeting their obligations. ‘Thanks to media colleagues for voluntarily fulfilling their tax obligations today,’ Bimo said during the Tax Class for Journalists in Jakarta, on Thursday (5 March 2026).

Through this feature, taxpayers can download electronic forms from the Coretax system, fill them offline, and then re-upload to the system. This facility is aimed at taxpayers who are accustomed to using forms or who have limited internet access.

Coretax Form has been available since 25 February 2026. The feature can be used by individual taxpayers with income from employment or business activities, filing SPT Nihil, and not using Norma Penghitungan Penghasilan Neto.

In addition, DJP launched the Coretax Mobile app or M-Pajak. This app enables activation of Coretax accounts as well as registration of an Authorization Code (Kode Otorisasi) or an Electronic Certificate (Sertifikat Elektronik) via mobile devices.

The M-Pajak app is available on Google Play Store and the App Store.

DJP notes that the filing of the Annual Personal Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2025 had surpassed 6 million returns as of Thursday (5 March 2026) at 08:00 WIB. Of that total, 5,872,158 came from individual taxpayers. Filings by corporate taxpayers stood at 129,231 for corporations with rupiah currency and 113 for corporations with the United States dollar.

DJP hopes that the addition of these service channels will make tax access more inclusive and flexible, as well as encourage compliance before the deadline ends.
