Djavino Group Vehicle Seized by Police Over Illegal Subsidised Diesel Purchase
KENDARI — A black open-cup vehicle belonging to Djavino Group, bearing the company's stickers, has been impounded at the Kendari City Police headquarters. The vehicle was found containing over a dozen jerry cans covered by a blue tarpaulin.
Ranla, one of Djavino Group's persons in charge, confirmed the incident. He explained that the subsidised diesel had been purchased by one of the company's employees from a middleman, rather than from an official Pertamina filling station.
"Our employee received a fee by purchasing diesel from a middleman, not directly from Pertamina or an official filling station," Ranla said. He added that the employee is suspected of having bought the diesel from queued purchases.
Djavino Group acknowledged that their open-cup vehicle is currently held at the Kendari City Police headquarters.
