DIY High Prosecutor's Office Reveals Identity of Village Land Lessee in Sleman Ex-Village Chief Corruption Case
The Yogyakarta High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati DIY) has revealed the lessee of the Kalurahan land plot 88 in Padukuhan Pringwulung, Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman, which was misused by former Condongcatur Village Chief Reno Candra Sangaji (RCS).
Head of Legal Information at Kejati DIY, Langgeng Prabowo, stated that the lessee of the land plot was not an individual but a limited liability company (PT). He noted that the company has already been dissolved.
“(The land lessee is) PT Gunung Samudra Tirtomas, but the PT has been dissolved,” Langgeng said when contacted on Monday (6/7/2026).
A boarding house with dozens of rooms stands on the land plot, but it is no longer in use and has been abandoned. According to Langgeng, it was the lessee who constructed the boarding house building.
“(The land area is approximately) 1,221 square metres. (It includes) buildings and a parking area. The lessee built it,” Langgeng explained.
Previously, the DIY High Prosecutor’s Office named former Condongcatur Village Chief Reno Candra Sangaji (RCS) and a former Jaga Baya with the initial K as suspects in the alleged misuse of Kalurahan land plot 88 in Padukuhan Pringwulung, Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman.
Langgeng explained that the suspects’ role in the case was that they were officials who should have safeguarded the Village Treasury Land from misuse by other parties, but instead rented it out without permission.
The use of village treasury land is regulated by the Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2017 concerning the Management and Utilisation of Sultanate and Duchy Lands, and the Yogyakarta Special Region Governor Regulation Number 34 of 2017 concerning the Utilisation of Village Treasury Land.
“The suspects instead appeared to turn a blind eye and gave their blessing by renting it out to another party without obtaining permission from the Governor of DIY or following the proper mechanisms,” Langgeng stated on Tuesday (30/6).
Investigators from the DIY High Prosecutor’s Office have also obtained the state financial loss calculation audit from the DIY Representative of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Number: PE.03.03/SR-2120/PW12/5/2025 dated 26 November 2025, regarding the Audit Report on the Calculation of State Financial Losses for the Alleged Misuse of Village Treasury Land Plot 88, Pringwulung Hamlet, Condongcatur Village, Depok, Sleman, for the period January 2017 to March 2025.
“The actions of the suspects resulted in state financial losses, specifically to the Condongcatur Village Government, and provided benefits to unauthorised parties amounting to Rp 4,224,342,510.90, according to the calculation of State Financial Losses from the BPKP Representative of DIY Province,” he concluded.
