Dividend Recap Not Yet Released, Danantara Boss: Be Patient, We Are Cleaning Up
The Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) has announced that it will soon release the recapitulation of dividend reports for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) up to the 2025 financial performance. The Head of BPI Danantara, who also serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dony Oskaria, stated that the agency is currently awaiting the completion of financial bookkeeping for its subsidiaries.
“Not everything is finished yet. We are currently handling impairments and tidying up the books. Everything should be completed by the end of June at the latest,” Dony said at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Furthermore, he noted that many subsidiaries have yet to hold their General Meetings of Shareholders (RUPS). It is noted that companies must obtain shareholder approval before deciding on dividend distributions. “So, please be patient. This year is a year of cleaning up; we are tidying everything up. Any incomplete or incorrect bookkeeping, we are fixing it,” he added.
Previously, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) recorded that dividend contributions from state-owned companies had reached 100% of the 2024 target. Total BUMN dividend contributions as of November 2024 reached Rp 85.5 trillion, an increase from the Rp 81.2 trillion recorded in 2023.
From the total dividends, the highest contributor was PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) at Rp 25.7 trillion, followed by Bank Mandiri at Rp 17.1 trillion, and MIND ID at Rp 11.2 trillion. The remainder of the top ten contributors included Pertamina (Rp 9.3 trillion), Telkom (Rp 9.2 trillion), BNI (Rp 6.2 trillion), PLN (Rp 3 trillion), Pupuk Indonesia (Rp 1.2 trillion), Pelindo (Rp 1 trillion), and BTN (Rp 420 billion).
