Ditpolairud Polda Metro Provides Wheelchair to Coastal Resident in Muara Angke
The Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) of Polda Metro Jaya has carried out a health community service activity. One of the initiatives involved distributing wheelchair aid to a coastal resident in the Muara Angke area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
The Director of Polairud at Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Mustofa, explained that this health community service was held today. The event took place at the residence of Ibu Wahsiah in RT 001 RW 022, Pluit Subdistrict.
Dirpolairud Polda Metro Jaya Mustofa stated that the wheelchair assistance was given directly to Ibu Wahsiah, who has suffered a stroke. The wheelchair is expected to assist Ibu Wahsiah in her daily activities.
“In the activity, wheelchair aid and consolation items were provided to Ibu Wahsiah (59), who is known to have a chronic stroke,” Mustofa told reporters on Wednesday (15/4/2026).
“This assistance is hoped to help her mobility and alleviate the burden in carrying out daily activities,” he continued.
Mustofa conveyed that this activity is a form of the Indonesian National Police’s concern for the community, particularly coastal residents who require attention and social assistance.
“This health community service is a manifestation of the Indonesian National Police’s presence among the people. We want to ensure that the community, especially in coastal areas, can feel the service and concern, particularly for those needing health equipment assistance,” Mustofa said.
He also assured that similar activities will continue to be carried out sustainably as part of the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to providing humanitarian, professional services oriented towards community needs.
The event was attended by the main officials of Ditpolairud as well as the Community Guidance and Security Non-Commissioned Officers for coastal areas under Ditpolairud Polda Metro Jaya. The activity was also joined by community leaders, religious figures, and local apparatus who appreciated the concern of the Ditpolairud Polda Metro Jaya ranks in helping coastal residents.
