Dito Ariotedjo Reveals 40 kg Weight Loss After Leaving Ministerial Post
Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, appeared noticeably slimmer when attending a summons at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today. Dito stated that his weight has decreased by 40 kg since he ceased his tenure as Minister of Youth and Sports.
“I have returned to the disciplined pattern of my past. I limit my food intake to a maximum of 800-1,000 calories per day,” Dito said at the KPK building, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/06/2026).
Dito noted that he has remained consistent with his diet since leaving his ministerial post in September 2025. According to Dito, his weight has already dropped by 40 kg.
“I exercise every day. Snacks are very minimal. The key is nutritional intake and resisting hunger. I gained almost 50 kilograms between 2020 and 2023. I gained 50 kg and have lost 40 kg. There are still 10 kg to go,” Dito said.
Returning to the subject of his interrogation, Dito admitted he was questioned regarding two private sector suspects in this case. He stated that he has provided the information requested by the KPK investigators.
“Today’s examination is for the new investigation order. Previously, I came here for the investigation order involving the first suspects, Gus Yaqut and Gus Alex. This is the second one involving the private sector. I am providing additional information and statements,” Dito said.
Dito left the interrogation room at approximately 14:08 WIB. He had previously arrived at the KPK and began questioning by investigators at 10:00 WIB.
Dito mentioned that the subject matter of today’s examination was not significantly different from his questioning on 23 January. He was still being interrogated regarding the flow of additional Hajj quota allocations from the Saudi Arabian government to Indonesia.
“It is more because I was present in Saudi Arabia during the meeting with MBS. Coincidentally, my father-in-law is also related to the association. So, they are digging deeper into that,” Dito remarked.
In this case, the KPK has named four suspects. Their identities are as follows:
Former Minister of Religious Affairs, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas (YCQ)
Former Special Staff to the Minister, Ishfah Abidal Azis, also known as Gus Alex (IAA)
Operational Director of PT Makassar Toraja (Maktour), Ismail Adham (ISM)
Chairperson of the Kesthuri Association, Asrul Azis Taba (ASR).
