District Prosecutor's Office in Dompu Suggests Pajo Sub-District Head Report Prosecutors Who Allegedly Extorted Him
The Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office has suggested to Pajo Sub-District Head Imran that he report three prosecutors who extorted Rp 30 million from him under the pretext of lightening his sentence. Imran is dealing with the prosecutors due to being convicted in an assault case.
The Head of the Intelligence Section (Kasi Intel) at the Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office, Dany Curia Novitawan, revealed that the step to report the rogue prosecutors could be submitted through the Supervision Division of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati).
“Please go ahead and report it; we do not close off any avenues for anyone. Please bring the evidence to the Kejati to be reported to the Supervision Section,” said Dany on Tuesday (31/3/2026).
Dany stated that he had suggested Imran report the rogue prosecutors who demanded money from him. This suggestion was conveyed by Dany through Imran’s family and legal advisor.
The Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office, continued Dany, is merely awaiting the legal steps taken by the party who feels aggrieved by the actions of the rogue prosecutors. If reported, Dany assured that the prosecutors would certainly be examined and sanctioned if proven guilty.
“We at the Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office are only waiting for the party who was extorted, in this case, Pajo Sub-District Head as the convict. Because that is their right. Once reported, they will certainly be examined by the Supervision Division of the Kejati,” explained Dany.
Previously, Pajo Sub-District Head Imran claimed to have been extorted by three prosecutors at the Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office. This admission was made by Imran when he was executed to the Class IIB Dompu Penitentiary (Lapas) by the prosecutors on Monday (30/3/2026) afternoon. Imran became a convict in the assault case against a resident.
Imran named the three prosecutors he suspects of extorting him, namely the former Intelligence Section Head with initials J, the former General Criminal Section Head with initials K, and the former Special Criminal Section Head with initials IS. The three rogue prosecutors have now been transferred to other posts. The three are suspected of extorting Imran while serving at the Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office.
Imran revealed that in the legal process of the assault case against a resident handled by the Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office, he claimed to have been asked for Rp 30 million by IS. The money was handed directly to IS, K, and J at the Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office.
“I had no initiative to give money to the prosecution, but Mrs IS was the one who called us to hand over Rp 30 million in this room,” Imran revealed moments before being executed to the Dompu Penitentiary.
