District Head of Pajo Claims Extortion by Three Prosecutors, NTB Attorney General: That's Just a Claim
The Head of the West Nusa Tenggara Attorney General’s Office (Kajati NTB), Wahyudi, has spoken out regarding the claim by Pajo District Head Imran, who alleged extortion by three prosecutors at the Dompu District Attorney’s Office (Kejari Dompu). Imran claimed he was extorted for Rp 30 million. The extortion was purportedly to lighten his punishment. Imran himself was dealing with the prosecutors over an assault case. According to Wahyudi, the alleged extortion of Imran is not yet confirmed and is merely a one-sided claim. “That’s just their claim (Imran’s). Such matters require clarification,” Wahyudi stated on Wednesday (1/4/2026). The three prosecutors allegedly involved in the extortion are the Intelligence Section Head with initials J, the General Criminal Section Head with initials K, and the former Special Criminal Section Head with initials IS. All three rogue prosecutors have since been transferred. They are suspected of extorting Imran while stationed at Kejari Dompu. Currently, no parties have been asked for clarification. No official report has been submitted to the NTB Attorney General’s Office either. “Not yet, we need to examine this first; there are SOPs and procedures. If it’s true, we will handle it,” he said. “We will examine it first and so on. Whatever happens next, there are stages,” Wahyudi added. Previously, Pajo District Head Imran claimed he was extorted by three prosecutors at Kejari Dompu. This claim was revealed by Imran during his execution to the Class IIB Dompu Penitentiary by prosecutors on Monday (30/3/2026) afternoon. Imran was a convicted defendant in an assault case against a resident. Imran revealed that during the legal process for the assault case against a resident handled by Kejari Dompu, he was asked for Rp 30 million by IS. The money was handed directly to IS, K, and J at the Kejari Dompu office. “I had no initiative to give money to the prosecutor’s office, but Mrs IS was the one who called us to hand over Rp 30 million in this room,” Imran stated just before his execution to Dompu Penitentiary.
