The Regional Development Planning Sub-Department (Suban PPD) of Kepulauan Seribu Regency has confirmed that healthcare service facilities on four inhabited islands are operating optimally.

“We conducted monitoring and evaluation surveys of healthcare service facilities on four inhabited islands, targeting a number of health facilities on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island, Pari Island and Untung Jawa Island,” said Gabriel Erlan Anggrid, Head of the People’s Welfare Sub-Division at Suban PPD of Kepulauan Seribu Regency, in Jakarta on Friday.

According to him, the monitoring was carried out to assess the condition of healthcare service facilities, which will serve as material for evaluation and future development planning.

“The survey results will become material for evaluation and planning so that healthcare services for the community can continue to be improved,” he said.

During the visit to Pramuka Island, Gabriel said the team inspected an auxiliary community health centre and reviewed land planned for use as a medicine warehouse.

“At the community health centre in the Bukit Matahari area, we examined the readiness of the location and the healthcare facility needs for the community,” he said.

The monitoring results from the four islands will serve as input for the preparation of development planning and the improvement of healthcare service facilities in Kepulauan Seribu.

“We hope that the results of this monitoring can provide a picture of needs on the ground, so that future planning for healthcare facility development can be more targeted and support the improvement of service quality for the community,” Gabriel said.
