Jakarta (ANTARA) - The total value of various social assistance (bansos) disbursed to support the lives of survivors in the aftermath of floods and landslides in Aceh Province, North Sumatra (Sumut), and West Sumatra (Sumbar) has reached approximately Rp483.9 billion to date.

“Precisely, the total funds disbursed based on reports from the Task Force (Satgas) for Accelerating Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (PRR) Post-Sumatra Disaster as of 6 April 2026 amount to Rp483.959.85 billion,” stated the Task Force (Satgas) for Accelerating Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (PRR) Post-Sumatra Disaster in an official release in Jakarta on Thursday.

Therefore, the Satgas PRR continues to accelerate the distribution of various social assistance (bansos) to support the lives of survivors of floods and landslides in Aceh Province, North Sumatra (Sumut), and West Sumatra (Sumbar).

The disbursed bansos consist of life guarantee assistance (jadup), housing contents assistance, as well as social and economic stimulus.

These aid packages are distributed to support the acceleration of recovery while helping to meet the economic needs of disaster survivors.

In detail, Aceh recorded the highest realisation with distribution reaching 47,483 individuals and total funds disbursed amounting to Rp366.298 billion.

In Sumut, assistance has reached 11,091 individuals with total funds of Rp101.371.3 billion. Meanwhile, in Sumbar, assistance has reached 1,799 individuals with total funds of Rp16.290.550 billion.

The jadup distribution scheme is valued at Rp15,000 per individual per day for three months. Meanwhile, housing contents assistance is distributed at Rp3 million per family head. Social and economic stimulus assistance is provided at Rp5 million per family.

Jadup assistance, housing contents, and economic stimulus are among the post-disaster aid schemes given to ensure the continuity of life for disaster survivors.

In addition, to complement the basic needs of disaster survivors, the Satgas PRR has also allocated Temporary Housing Waiting Funds (DTH) for survivors who do not choose to live in temporary housing (huntara).

The amount of DTH assistance disbursed is Rp600,000 per month for a period of three months, so each family head receives a total of Rp1.8 million.

All recipients’ accounts for DTH have received fund transfers to date, with a distribution rate of 100 percent for 14,775 recipients in the three provinces.

The breakdown in Aceh consists of 8,709 recipients, followed by 4,162 in Sumut and 1,904 in Sumbar.

Tito explained that while temporary permanent housing (huntap) is not yet completed, disaster survivors will receive meal assistance of Rp15,000 per person per day for three months.

This scheme is adjusted to the target construction timeline for huntap, which takes approximately three to four months.

“While huntap is not yet built, the community need not worry, because there is huntara. Later, the meal allowance funds of Rp15,000 per person per day will continue to run. If huntap is not completed in three months, it will still be provided,” said Tito in Sekumur Village, Sekerak, Aceh Tamiang, Aceh, on Saturday (4/4).
