Distributing Gas to the Remotest Areas, Pertagas Strengthens Energy Infrastructure

PT Pertamina Gas has successfully recorded solid performance throughout 2025, with revenues reaching USD 861.51 million and net profit rising 21.43%. This performance is supported by the gas transportation business line, which recorded a distribution volume of more than 1,500 MMSCFD (million standard cubic feet per day), as well as the oil transportation segment that successfully distributed more than 174,000 barrels per day (BOPD), and the regasification business with a volume exceeding 155 billion British thermal units per day (BBTUD). The President Director of PT Pertamina Gas, Indra P. Sembiring, stated that Pertagas’s business operates in the midstream sector of Indonesia’s oil and gas industry with four business lines through four subsidiaries, namely Perta Arun Gas, PT Perta-samtan Gas, PT Pertaga Niaga, and Perta Daya Gas. Pertagas’s business growth is in line with the increasing gas demand alongside national economic growth, thus driving Pertagas’s expansion to ensure the fulfilment of domestic gas needs, including for the industrial sector.
