Disruption Resolved, Bogor-Jakarta Commuter Line Services Return to Normal

Commuter line (KRL) services on the Bogor-Jakarta Kota route were temporarily disrupted due to a train fault at Bojong Gede Station in Bogor, West Java. Services have now returned to normal after the affected train was dealt with for repairs. Public Relations Manager of KAI Commuter, Leza Arlan, stated on Sunday (9/8/2026) that Commuter Line No. 1331 (Bogor-Jakarta Kota) experienced a rolling stock fault on track 1 at Bojong Gede Station at 13:38 WIB. Leza said the train was immediately handled by officers, and all passengers on train number 1331 were transferred to Commuter Line No. 1333 at Bojong Gede Station by 13:46 WIB. He noted that relevant officers conducted immediate identification and initial checks on the affected train, specifically on carriages 8 and 9. Repairs were carried out by officers directly at Bojong Gede Station, and at 14:20 WIB the repairs were completed. The train was then dispatched without passengers for further maintenance at Depok Depot. As a result of the rolling stock fault, Commuter Line No. 1331 was delayed by 35 minutes, while Commuter Line No. 1333 and No. 1337 were each delayed by 6 minutes. Leza apologised for the delays and urged all passengers to remain orderly and prioritise safety, always following the instructions of officers both on the commuter line and at stations. He advised passengers to seek further travel updates through KAI Commuter’s official channels, including the @commuterline social media account, the C-Access application, and the 121 call centre.
