Display of Rp11.4 Trillion Cash Pile from Attorney General's Office Seizure
The display of a mountain of Rp11.4 trillion in cash, resulting from administrative forest fines by the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH) at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), will be handed over to the state on Friday (10/4). The Kejagung cash handover was attended by President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto. The trillions of rupiah, resembling a mountain, were displayed on a stage at the event location. In addition to administrative fines, the money stems from forest area misuse corruption cases. At the centre of the cash pile was a sign reading Rp11,420,104,815,858 trillion, representing the total amount. The trillions of rupiah will be handed over by Kejagung to the state this afternoon. The breakdown of the returned funds includes Rp7.2 trillion from Satgas PKH’s collection of administrative forest fines. Meanwhile, Rp1.9 trillion comes from state financial recoveries from corruption cases. Additionally, Rp967 billion is from tax deposits throughout 2026. Then, Rp108 billion originates from state revenue via tax payments for the period ending 28 February 2026 by PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara, amounting to Rp108 billion. Furthermore, non-tax state revenue from environmental fine payments totals Rp1.1 trillion. In addition, Satgas PKH is also returning the results of the Sixth Stage Forest Area Reclamation, with a total area of 5 million hectares. Of the reclaimed land area, 254,780.12 hectares will be handed over to the Ministry of Forestry. The areas include convertible production forest in Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan, covering 149,198.09 hectares, Lae Kombih Nature Reserve Forest in Subulussalam, Aceh, at 510.03 hectares, and the Mount Halimun Salak Forest Area in Bogor, West Java, at 105,072 hectares. Additionally, 30,543.40 hectares of land is being handed over to relevant ministries and agencies via the Ministry of Finance, then transferred to BPI Danantara and subsequently to PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero).
