Disgraceful! Scout Leader Serially Rapes Vocational High School Student in Bekasi

A man identified by the initials MA (25) has been arrested by police in connection with the rape of a female vocational high school student in Cikarang Utara, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The depraved acts by MA were carried out repeatedly and he has now been named a suspect. ‘The case came to light after a report from the victim’s parents to the police,’ Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Sumarni said, quoted by detikNews on Thursday, 5 March 2026. MA is known to be an extracurricular scout leader, while the victim was in Year X and aged 16. MA is said to have invited the victim to meet, but instead took her to a hotel. The reporting father said the first incident is believed to have occurred on 16 December 2025 at a hotel in the Karangbahagia area, Cikarang Utara. ‘The incident began when the offender invited the victim to walk around in Cikarang. However, during the journey, the offender took the victim to a hotel on the pretext of resting,’ he said. Subsequently, MA again invited the victim to meet on 21 December 2025 at another hotel in the Jababeka area, Cikarang Utara. Then the third rape case occurred in January 2026. ‘According to the statements obtained by investigators, while in the hotel room, the offender is suspected of committing coercive acts before ultimately raping the victim. From preliminary investigations, the acts are suspected to have occurred three times from December 2025 to January 2026,’ he explained.
