JAKARTA (JP): The United Nations Information Center is
organizing a discussion on women's issues on Friday in observance
of International Women's Day.

The discussion, titled What Next After the Fourth World
Conference on Women in Beijing? will feature feminist lawyer
Nursyahbani Kacasungkana.

International Women's Day has been observed since 1975 in
commemoration of the anniversary of a demonstration staged in
1857 by a group of American female garment workers demanding
