Discussing the Design of the Xpeng G6, a Robot-Faced Electric SUV

The electric vehicle (EV) market in Indonesia is growing more crowded with the arrival of various new players. One that is attracting significant attention is the Xpeng G6, a coupe-style SUV that offers a blend of performance and design aesthetics.

Upon first glance, the most striking impression is its futuristic appearance. Xpeng appears to be highlighting its identity as a modern electric car that is more than just a mode of transport. This is clearly evident in the front end, which looks clean and minimalist without excessive intricate accents.

The vehicle measures 4,753mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,650mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,890mm, making it slightly smaller than the BYD Sealion 7. The headlights are integrated with an extended LED line stretching across the bonnet, providing a wide and futuristic impression.

Moving to the side, the SUV coupe silhouette is very dominant. The sloping roofline provides a strong sporty character. The wheel assembly is also a notable feature. The wheel design appears quite complex with a two-tone colour scheme, fitted with 255/45 R20 Michelin tyres.

As striking as the front is, the rear of the Xpeng G6 is designed to be very simple yet full of character. The taillights utilise a full-width design that harmonises with the front design language.
