Discovery of 74 kg of Gold in a Safe and a Unique Pistol Souvenir from Erdogan
Police are investigating three corruption cases and have conducted searches at 12 locations. During a search of a luxury home in Sentul, Bogor, officers discovered 74 kilogrammes of gold bars inside a safe hidden behind a wall. On the second floor of De’clan Signature café in Cipete, South Jakarta, police found a safe measuring two by one metre. The safe was concealed behind a cupboard and contained documents as well as cash in Rupiah, US Dollars, and Singapore Dollars. Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reportedly offered a pistol to every head of state attending the NATO summit in Ankara.
