Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Distributes Eid al-Adha Sacrificial Animals to Bali-Lombok Communities

Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel distributed sacrificial animals to commemorate the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Adha. The distribution serves as a demonstration of social concern and the company’s commitment to communities in Bali and Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

“Eid al-Adha teaches values of sincerity, compassion, and togetherness. Through this sacrifice activity, we hope to benefit the community and strengthen the positive relationship between Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel and the communities in Bali and Lombok,” said General Manager Luis Daniel Garcia in a statement on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.

The initiative was conducted in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli Bali, particularly in the distribution process to those in need. This year, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel distributed two cows and three goats to several mosques and musalas in Bali and Lombok.

The sacrificial animals included one cow distributed to Pondok Pesantren Qamarul Huda in Lombok, another cow to Masjid Al-Amin in Bali, and three goats to Masjid Nurhasanah, Musala Minhajul Athfal, and Musala Al Muhajirin, all in Bali.

Garcia stated that Eid al-Adha presents an opportunity to share and strengthen harmonious relations with the local community. He added that the activity is part of the hotel’s ongoing Corporate Social Safety Responsibility (CSSR) programme.

“Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel hopes this initiative continues to have a positive impact and forms part of the company’s sustained contribution to the surrounding social environment, alongside support and collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli Bali,” Garcia added.
