Disaster Victims in West Aceh Agree to Occupy Temporary Housing After Eid al-Fitr

Due to the current situation during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the community has agreed that they will only occupy the temporary housing after the Lebaran break ends, said Acting Head of the West Aceh District BPBD, Teuku Ronald Nehdiansyah, to ANTARA in Meulaboh on Saturday. Teuku Ronald explained that the disaster survivors reasoned that occupying the huntara during Eid al-Fitr is not feasible as they still wish to celebrate Lebaran with their relatives. Currently, the construction of 12 huntara units spread across Lawet Village and Jambak Village, Pante Ceureumen Subdistrict, West Aceh, has been entirely completed in accordance with the specified deadline. If the facilities are already finished, we just need to complete the contents of the huntara, he said. Previously, on Tuesday (10/2), six other households had occupied huntara in Jambak Village, Pante Ceureumen Subdistrict, West Aceh District.
