Disaster after disaster

Let us contemplate the flood calamities that have happened due to lack of consideration and foresight. All of these cases could have been avoided if people would plan ahead: 1. Catastrophic floods caused by the absence of water catchment areas and dwelling in unsuitable locations. 2. Lack of objectivity, poor environmental planning and construction as well as poor telephone and electrical wiring (short circuits, conflagrations unavoidable), pipe work and drainage systems, including unhygienic water conditions and asbestos contamination. 3. Hazardous garbage accumulation, disorder and no discipline in all tasks. 4. Traffic chaos, inappropriate road signs and poor safety standards, no monitoring functions, massive pollution, unregulated exhaust fumes and noise disturbances.

It is still a complicated and bureaucratically long winded way to go to change these conditions. It is a pity for these very valuable people.
