Disappointing: ITMG Dividend Drops 52% to US$115 Million

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The mining issuer PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) has announced it will distribute a final dividend of US$65 million, equivalent to approximately Rp1.11 trillion. Thus, the total cash dividend for fiscal year 2025 is set at US$115 million, or about Rp1.97 trillion.

Nevertheless, this figure represents a significant decline of 52% compared to the fiscal year 2024 achievement, when shareholders agreed to distribute a dividend of US$243 million.

Previously, ITMG had distributed US$50 million, equivalent to Rp738 per share, as an interim cash dividend on 26 November 2025. Therefore, the remaining US$65 million will be distributed as cash dividend on 19 May 2026.

In the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Friday (17/4/2026), this amount equates to a payout ratio of 60% of the company’s net profit for fiscal year 2025 attributable to the owners of the parent entity. It is known that the company’s net profit was US$191 million on Friday (17/4/2026).

The decline in ITMG’s dividend amount is mainly due to the company’s profit being significantly eroded in fiscal year 2025, where ITMG’s profit fell 46% to Rp3.14 trillion from the previous Rp5.93 trillion a year earlier.

In addition to the dividend, the company also approved a restructuring of the company’s management composition. The company has accepted the resignation of Djoko Wintoro from his position as Independent Commissioner and appointed Gede Harja Wasistha as his replacement.
