Dirlantas Praises PLN for Maintaining Electricity Supply: Aids Smoothness of Eid Return Security
The Head of Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Komarudin, has praised PLN UID Jakarta Raya for successfully maintaining electricity supply for all levels of society during the Eid holiday period. This support has also facilitated the smooth operation of security measures, particularly at crowded points.
Komarudin emphasised that the reliable electricity provision from PLN is greatly appreciated by the public, whether they are staying in Jakarta or travelling for Eid migration. The readiness of 2,148 PLN personnel deployed across various vital points ensures that every moment of joy for the community in places of worship and crowded centres can proceed in a solemn and cheerful manner.
“We appreciate PLN’s preparedness in maintaining the reliability of electricity supply during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period. The stable electricity support greatly aids the smoothness of security operations, especially at crowded points and migration routes,” said Komarudin in his statement on Tuesday (24/3/2026).
As the Deputy Chief of Operations for Ketupat Jaya 2026, he stated that users of electric vehicles have also enjoyed exceptional convenience. With 673 SPKLU units available in the Jabodetabek region, the public travelling for Eid migration or return feels at ease due to the massive and optimally functioning supporting electrical infrastructure.
Furthermore, Komarudin noted that PLN’s commitment to preparing supporting equipment such as generators and UPS at 519 mosques and other strategic locations has provided public reassurance. The absence of significant electricity issues during this long holiday period proves that coordination between public service agencies is running very harmoniously for the broad benefit of society.
